I’m a Writer for Parisienne Farmgirl Magazine
Kelly will be teaching a series of Horticulture Courses in Southern Maine through the University of Maine this spring.
Dates and more information coming soon!
This spring Highland Ave Greenhouses and Farm Market will be sponsoring a series of Herb Classes and have invited Kelly to come and give some talks about propagating, growing and cooking with herbs.
This year Kelly is going to be writing a number of articles for local and national magazines, but the first to be released is her monthly feature, ‘The Down and Dirty Gardener’ in the Agricultural Extension newsletter.
The first article, Fuchsias for the Future, has been published in the January 2012 Master Gardener Newsletter.
Just finished a bunch of wonderful educational posters for the Cumberland County Agricultural Extension through the University of Maine! The posters are currently hanging up in the Extension’s Booth at the Cumberland County Fair in Maine! You can also check out the posters on my blog with some additional gardening information!
Each poster features different gardening techniques for Extending Your Growing Season! They include photographs that illustrate each technique as well as a brief description and applicable seasons. If you are in the Greater Portland Area stop by the Fair and check out all the wonderful information, posters and season extension displays in the Cumberland County Agricultural Extension‘s booth in the Horticultural Building! They have an amazing cold frame, tomato cage and display as well as all the other fair festivities you’d expect!
We are so excited about our new site design and the new upcoming botanical collection that should be released in October!
Check out our new website, there are many new places to discover including our Commercial Floral Photography Service, a page with some general wholesale information, and the entirely new Portfolio Pages which display Coastal, Landscape and People Photography as well as Botanical & Floral Photography!

I'm Kelly, a horticulturist & photographer and a general garden geek. You can usually find me outside, knee-deep in dirt, gardening and looking slightly rumpled.
